Milton Holly Festival, Ocean City Comic-Con Among This Weekend's Main Events

December 8, 2021

Two more weeks until the jolly man from the North Pole hitches up the reindeer and magically circumvents the globe distributing gifts to all of us who are on the "nice list" for 2021.

Yes, the Christmas season continues to take center stage in regards to upcoming events at the Delaware and Maryland beaches, as well as surrounding areas.

From an event in Milton that's been going on for generations to holiday festivals and light displays and even a fun comic-con in Ocean City, it should be another great December weekend in the coastal region.

Let's begin with that aforementioned festival in downtown Milton, which was begun by the "Milton Holly Man" decades ago and continues to this day.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Milton Holly Festival (December 11)

Always one of the highlights of the Christmas season, the annual Milton Holly Festival is planned for this Saturday, December 11, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

More than 75 vendors will be on hand for this year's festival selling their holiday wares in beautiful downtown Milton. And don't forget to visit with Santa Claus, get your face painted, grab a meal at one of Milton's downtown eateries and generally just have a great time as we head into Christmas 2021.

This event is held at several locations throughout Milton, including the Milton Fire Hall, the Milton Public Library, Goshen Hall and the Lydia B. Cannon Museum.

Other features of the festival include a Christmas Village, a Dogfish Head Beer Garden and a Christmas Market.
