‘Chicago Is My Kind of Town’ show set June 28
Local performers Lisa Graff, Holly Lane and John Francis Flynn will present "Chicago Is My Kind of Town" at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 28, at CAMP Rehoboth, 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
The show is an autobiographical journey into Graff’s life, and a tribute to a man named Mark who, she said, modeled for her that gay people can be more fun than straight people.
Educator, writer and performer Graff grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and lived in Maryland all her life until she moved to Lewes in 2010.
A jazz singer, Lane has called Rehoboth Beach home since 1996, and she has been playing with John Flynn for about 15 years. A prolific pianist, Flynn has lived in Rehoboth for 18 years. He was also a lead vocalist for several bands in the 1990s.
