‘Women of History in Lewes’ is AAUW meeting topic Jan. 15

The AAUW Coastal-Georgetown Branch will meet at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 15, at The Lodge at Historic Lewes.

Denise Clemons, AAUW chapter treasurer, will present "Women of History in Lewes." 

Clemons is board chair of Historic Lewes, where as archivist, she manages objects in the collection and provides support to researchers. She is a former executive at IBM and holds a bachelor of science degree in biopsychology from Vassar College and a master of arts in writing from Johns Hopkins University. After relocating to Lewes in 2005, Clemons began writing Cape Flavors, a weekly cooking column for the Cape Gazette.
