Beth McGinn, National Security Committee chairperson and member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 28, was decked out in the colors of the day.

Children gathered July 4 to mark the holiday with a parade hosted by St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Millsboro. Local scouts presented the colors and American Legion Post 28 Auxiliary participated in the program with local families. Cathy Gorman peppered the ceremony with patriotic songs. 2017 coordinators of the event were Barbara Aro, Roberta Collins, Janice Fabian, Lorraine Fry, Michael and Donna Hall, Dennis Rhodes, Leanne Vasold and Gale White.
