14th RD Democratic Committee meeting RSVPs due April 12

The 14th Representative District Democratic Committee will host six Democrats running for seats in the 2026 election at its Monday, April 13 meeting.

Candidates scheduled to appear include Chris Beardsley, who is challenging incumbent Chris Coons for U.S. Senate, and five contenders for state representative: Rep. Alonna Berry and Ruby Schaeffer in RD 20; Gregg Lindner, RD 4; Maureen Madden, RD 38; and Ryan Stuckey, RD 41.

The program will begin at 5 p.m. with a Dutch treat dinner followed by remarks from the Democratic contenders at 6 p.m. and committee business at 6:45. Candidates will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, discuss why they’re running, and meet with attendees to hand out campaign literature and recruit campaign volunteers.

The 14th RD Democratic Committee represents residents of Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and southern Lewes.

All registered Democrats are welcome to participate in 14th RD meetings.
