AARP Long Neck hears presentation about recycling in Delaware

Delaware Solid Waste Authority Supervisor of Education and Outreach Sarah Culler gave an informative and entertaining presentation at the AARP Long Neck chapter's luncheon meeting Nov. 18. Culler took time to explain methods of recycling electronic equipment, old batteries, prescription medicine, engine oil and more.

AARP Chapter 4903 has monthly luncheons with speakers and entertainment. Luncheons are held at American Legion Post 28, 31768 Legion Road, Millsboro. The next meeting at noon, Wednesday, Dec. 16, will feature installation of next year’s officers and directors. Reservations are required by 5 p.m., Friday, Dec 11.
