The AAUW Coastal-Georgetown Branch will meet at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 25, at The Lodge at Historic Lewes.

Prior to joining AAUW, Blackwell was the director of Africa education programs at the Institute of International Education in Washington, D.C. She also served as a Peace Corps staff member and a volunteer in Africa. She holds a master’s degree in education and human development from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from Georgetown University.
