Children's Beach House campers spent two days on the corner of Second and Bank streets in Lewes to raise funds for children with cancer through research, providing funds for treatments and to aid the family. In addition to frozen lemonade drinks, campers created colored sand art bottles, lemon bar cookies, bracelets, flowers and clay bowls, all for a donation. For two days, Aug. 12-13 they accepted $1,360 in donations.
Counselor Kaitlyn Smith said "We are very excited to donate this money to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and thank our Lewes community for supporting the cause."
