Amber Nicole Rodriguez, loving, caring woman

May 17, 2020

Amber Nicole Rodriguez, 30, of Georgetown passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.  She was born Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1990, in West Chester, Pa., daughter of Luis M.  and Michelle Y. (Bernard) Rodriguez.

Amber was a beautiful, strong, loving, caring, and kind woman.  She was a talented artist and a perfectionist in all she created.  Her interests were many and varied, and included singing and dancing, doing hair and makeup, and baking - especially the lovingly crafted birthday cakes she'd make for every member of her family.  Amber was a child of God who found great joy in worship.  She adored her nieces and nephews and spoiled them whenever she could.  Amber knew the importance of family and friends, and was so grateful for her supportive, loving parents.  She cherished time with those she held most dear, especially Manny, to whom she loved being Mommy.  Amber was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.  She was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Amber was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Bernard; her grandmother, Jesus Bertha Carillo de Rodriguez;  and her uncle, Anthony Bernard Sr.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved son, Emmanuel Vazquez Rodriguez, 3, of Georgetown;  her brothers:  Jonathan Rodriguez (Yormeli) of Georgetown and Luis Rodriguez Jr. (Alexandra) of Syracuse, N.Y.;  her sister, Ashley Rodriguez (Ervin) of Georgetown; her grandparents: Jose Rodriguez of Georgetown, and Cipriano and Elvira Dominguez of Georgetown;  her nephews: Jayden, Josiah, Joseph, and a new nephew on the way, all of Georgetown; her nieces:  Micaella and Camila of Syracuse; her uncle, Jose Rodriguez (Anna) of Toughkenamon, Pa.; her aunts:  Yolanda Antillon (Robert) of Odessa, Texas, and Erika Zamores (Jesus) of Atlanta, Ga.; and her cousins: Jose Francisco, Deanna, and Andre of Toughkenamon, Pa., Brittany, Robert, Breanna, Bridgett, Brianca, and Rylan of Odessa, Carime, Jesus, Mariah, Alina, Kendra, and Kaleb of Atlanta and Georgetown, and Anthony Bernard of Odessa.
