Up Up Up and away with the Cape Gazette at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta 

Lewes residents Pat and Harold Missimer recently attended the 50th annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico with the Gazette. This year's event was held from October 1-9, with 648 hot air balloons representing 22 countries. Among the 648 balloons were 118 special shape balloons from 11 countries. Some of the popular special shapes were the Creamland Dairy cow Airabelle, Darth Vader and Yoda. This is the largest hot air balloon event in the world!
