Andrew Byrd named executive director of Harbor Healthcare

Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation recently announced Andrew Byrd as executive director of its skilled nursing center in Lewes.

"It is good to be back at Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation. I look forward to getting to know the community residents and providing quality care for families in the Lewes area. I am excited to lead the great team at Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation as we seek greater community involvement," said Byrd.

In the coming months, Byrd will be getting out to meet area residents. "I invite our neighbors to tour the center to see the clinical care and therapy services that we can offer. We have one of the largest therapy gyms in Delaware, and it is a great asset to our center. In the near future, we will be hosting an open house so area residents can meet our leadership team and discuss the direction of the center," Byrd added.

Byrd previously served as executive director at Keswick Multi-Care Center in Baltimore prior to joining Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation. He worked at Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation from 2012-13 as administrator.
