Andrew Grisin Jr., Kodak retiree

Andrew Grisin Jr., 76, of Lewes, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, of pancreatic cancer. 

He was born Sept.  23, 1946, in Johnstown, Pa. He grew up in the Moxham neighborhood of Johnstown, and he graduated from Johnstown High School in 1964.  Following his graduation from University of Pittsburgh, he moved to Rochester, N.Y., to work for Xerox Corporation.  He married Eileen Olsowsky Nov. 28, 1970, in Geneva, N.Y., and they lived mostly in the Rochester area until his 2012 retirement from Eastman Kodak, when they moved to Lewes. 

He loved his family, baseball and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen Grisin of Lewes; and their children:  Laura (Roger) Odegard of Alexandria, Va., Sarah (Joshua) Fougere of Washington, D.C., and Scott Grisin of Langhorne, Pa.; and by his grandchildren: Ryan Odegard, Meredith Odegard, Benjamin Odegard, Felix Fougere, Hugo Fougere, Ruby Grisin and Macy Grisin. He is also survived by his brother, Rodney (Janet) Grisin of Middletown; and his sister, Suzette (Richard) Gardenhour of Johnstown, Pa.; and by his nieces, Cara (Jeff) Fay and Amanda (Ray) Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Grisin Sr. and Katherine (Bozich) Grisin; and his sister Andrea Grisin.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Johnstown, Pa., officiated by Father Dragan Vukovic. Burial will be at St. Petka Cemetery in Johnstown. 

Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home in Johnstown is handling the arrangements.
