Anne Cox, Head Start retiree

Anne Cox, 57, of Rehoboth Beach passed away in the early hours of Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, surrounded by her loving and devoted husband Mike and grandson Tripp.

Anne was a 1981 graduate of Ursuline Academy High School, West Chester University with a degree in elementary education. She was employed by Head Start in New Castle prior to a debilitating automobile accident resulting in a permanent disability. Mike and Anne were married for 15 years. The last several years Mike was a wonderful caregiver to Anne.

Anne is survived by her siblings John, Kevin, Tim Scully and Mary Flowers, all of New Castle, Elizabeth Rucker of Maryland and Mike Scully of Georgia; her children Conor, Brian and Brendon Davis; and stepdaughter Ashley Cox; and five grandchildren. Anne was preceded in death by her parents John and Genieve Scully.
