Anne Hutton Miller, retired from retail

Anne Hutton Miller, 82, died peacefully  Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020, at her home in Rehoboth Beach.

Anne was born April 5, 1938, in Richmond, Va., to Alice Virginia Payne and John Sidney Hutton Jr. She graduated from Warrenton High School in 1956. She lived in Northern Virginia until 2000 when she moved to Rehoboth Beach, where she worked at The Cotton Club and the Lilypad Children’s Boutique.

Anne enjoyed traveling with friends, writing, genealogy, attending the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Lewes, volunteering at the Henlopen Theater Group, and spending time with her writing group and book club friends.

Anne is survived by her daughters, Karen Edwards, Kate Miller and Leigh Berenger; as well as her 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Anne wished to be cremated and for her ashes to be spread in the town she loved so dearly, Warrenton, Va.   In lieu of flowers and funeral services, and to honor Anne, we ask that all who wish to participate make a donation to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in memory of Anne Miller.
