Aquacare director earns Orthopedic Clinical Specialist designation

July 28, 2025

Aquacare Physical Therapy announced Megan Montante, PT, DPT, OCS, LSVT BIG Certified, recently earned the designation of board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Montante is the clinical director in Aquacare’s Lewes – King Street Row location.

Signifying advanced clinical expertise in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, the credential is awarded by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. The certification caps off Montante’s successful completion of the Evidence In Motion Orthopedic Residency Program, a rigorous, year-long course combining online didactic study, quarterly hands-on labs and one-on-one clinical mentorship with a board-certified specialist.

“The mentorship component was a tremendous asset,” said Montante. “Getting real-time feedback on evaluations and treatments helped me refine my skills and grow as a clinician. The program truly pushed me to practice at the top of my license.”

The Evidence In Motion residency ensures clinicians deliver care grounded in the latest research and manual therapy techniques while elevating patient outcomes through structured mentorship and clinical reasoning.

At Aquacare, Montante leads a team specializing in post-surgical rehab, orthopedic conditions and sports injury recovery. In addition to her OCS credential, she is LSVT BIG Certified for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and has completed up to Part C of the McKenzie Spine Program, giving her additional expertise in spinal disorders.

“Megan is a trusted partner to our referring physicians and a true asset to the Aquacare team,” said Cara Konlian, MSPT, Aquacare Physical Therapy CEO. “Her commitment to professional growth, collaborative care and patient-centered outcomes represents the high standard of excellence we aim for across all of our clinics.”
