The fundraising event included more than 20 food and beverage vendors who donated items, 14 sponsors, live and silent auctions, live music provided by Hot Sauce Band, cocktails, and s’mores by an open campfire.
Sue Dutton, Milton Arts Guild president, said, “We started in 2005 with a handful of artists, and we’ve grown to over 240 members. One of the buildings that we have our classrooms in is being sold, so we’re looking for space and we are rapidly outgrowing our gallery where we are. In addition, we want to fund some of the programs we provide to the community for free, scholarships we provide for high school kids, and a whole host of other things.”
