Arts guild to host Creating Paper Flowers class online May 15

Milton Arts Guild will host Creating Paper Flowers with Lynda Rae Gannon, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Friday, May 15, via Zoom.

The fee is $8. Paper flowers are perfect for every occasion to brighten one’s own day or someone else’s day.

Participants can make use of old gift wrap, gift bags, card stock and even just plain paper. Materials needed include: at least five sheets of various kinds of paper; scissors; Cello tape; a pencil; a glue gun or regular tacky glue or paste; something to use to trace a 3- to 4-inch circle; and something to make a stem such as wooden skewers, stiff wire, a stem from an artificial flower, or even an old coat hanger.
