Autism education consultant to speak at March 25 conference

Delaware special education consultant, international speaker and best-selling author Dr. William Lane has been invited to present virtually Thursday, March 25, at the Professional Ethics in Practice of Rehabilitation Conference in Chandigarh, India. Lane will be leading conference sessions that provide support for both individuals on the autism spectrum and special education teachers.

“I am looking forward to getting back on the road and continuing to do what I can to support neurodivergent individuals on their journey to educational and employment success,” said  Lane. “Successfully improving the quality of life for those with communication difficulties can provide empowerment, human dignity, individuality, and successful social interaction. As educators and employers, we must be prepared with the attitude, knowledge, preparation, skills and techniques for this challenge.”

In his presentation, Lane teaches the ideas, skills and techniques involved in becoming a better communicator to help enrich one’s personal and professional life.
