B-Street Band to play music of Bruce Springsteen Aug. 11

August 8, 2018

The City of Rehoboth Beach and the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand will present the B-Street Band at 8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 11.

This highly acclaimed tribute to the Boss features the music of Bruce Springsteen with a nonstop set of classic rock and entertainment. The B-Street Band first performed as Backstreets, a Tribute to the Boss May 19, 1980, in Asbury Park, N.J., for an audience of over 2,000 Bruce fans.

Nearly 5,500 performances and 34 years later, the B-Street Band is still the hardest-working tribute band on the circuit, with almost 200 shows per year throughout the country. B-Street Band members have the honor and pleasure of performing with several members of the E-Street Band including “Miami Steve” Van Zandt, Mighty Max Weinberg, the late great Big Man Clarence Clemons, Garry W. Tallent and Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez.

They bring their talents and unique sounds to Rehoboth Beach for the first time. “Tribute acts are always a big hit in Rehoboth Beach as we have fans of all types of music in our area. We are extremely excited to bring the music of Bruce Springsteen to our stage and look forward to a wonderful show,” said Corey Groll, program director for the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand.
