Barrows and Associates welcomes Steve Castiglione, Realtor

Barrows and Associates with Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to welcome Steve Castiglione to its team of experienced realtors.

Castiglione has 30 years of experience in all things homes. Born and raised in Wilmington, Castiglione grew up in his family's home improvement business. After high school, he attended a four-year apprenticeship program through the state of Delaware and earned his journeyman carpenter certification. Castiglione was able to hone his skills working alongside his father and grandfather, both skilled tradesmen.

In 2003, the home improvement business grew into a disaster restoration company handling home renovations, mitigation and structural repairs. Castiglione earned numerous industry certifications which helped him train his team and gain vast knowledge in estimating and sales.

In March 2011, the opportunity became available for Castiglione to relocate and work at the beach. After the school year ended, his wife Josette and their three children, Brittany, Brett and Tori, also moved to the beach. He continued in the disaster restoration industry until 2017, when he decided to change careers. That decision brought him to a local landscape and design company creating high-end landscapes, hardscape patios and outdoor living spaces.

Recently Steve and Josette decided it was time to team up as Realtors, since Josette was already a Realtor at Barrows and Associates with Ocean Atlantic Sotheby's. Given Steve's extensive background with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of homes, it was only fitting to transition into real estate to help with people's most significant purchase of their lives.
