Bayhealth ranks high for use of electronic health records
Bayhealth announced it has recently earned Stage 7 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society revalidation for its Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model and its Outpatient Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model. With fewer than 1% of U.S. health systems achieving HIMSS Stage 7, the accomplishment continues to set Bayhealth apart and demonstrates its unwavering commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services through effective use of electronic health records.
The HIMSS model ranks healthcare organizations on a scale from Stage 0 to Stage 7, with higher rankings indicating a higher rate of adoption and use of EHR.
By achieving Stage 7 revalidation, Bayhealth has demonstrated its ability to fully integrate EHR into its clinical workflows, ensuring seamless access to patient information and promoting efficient care coordination.
"We are thrilled to have achieved Stage 7 HIMSS revalidation for our EMRAM and O-EMRAM," said Richard Mohnk, MSA, MT(ASCP), Bayhealth vice president and chief information officer. "This recognition highlights our dedication to leveraging technology to deliver exceptional patient care and improve healthcare outcomes."
This achievement was the first successful revalidation for HIMSS in 2023 and showcases Bayhealth's dedication to staying at the forefront of healthcare technology.
Bayhealth remains committed to finding innovative solutions to enhance patient experiences, improve clinical decision-making and drive operational efficiencies.
