Bayhealth sets career fairs Oct. 5, 17
Bayhealth will host two upcoming career fairs in October to fill open positions throughout the organization, including positions at the new Bayhealth Total Care facility opening in February 2023 on Lewes-Georgetown Highway near Milton. The first career fair will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach at 19113 Coastal Highway. The second career fair is from 12 to 5 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus at 640 S. State St., Dover.
Bayhealth invites anyone interested in making a difference in the community through a career in healthcare to attend the fairs. While some open positions require specific education and certifications, there are also many entry-level positions available that provide on-the-job training. Bayhealth offers employees competitive benefits and other incentives such as the part-time weekend program and the student loan repayment program. Candidates who attend a career fair have a chance to win a $500 gift card.
Some of the open positions available include, but are not limited to, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, medical assistants, front office assistants, techs in multiple areas, phlebotomists, food service associates, electricians, engineers, accountants, public safety officers, administrative assistants and more.
The Bayhealth team is excited to bring nearly 70 new jobs to Sussex County with the opening of the innovative Bayhealth Total Care facility in Milton. It will feature a hybrid emergency and walk-in center, primary and specialty care clinics, and lab and imaging services.
