Bayside Resort Golf Club unveils $13 million clubhouse

November 23, 2020

Bayside Resort Golf Club, a Troon-managed, semi-private facility in Selbyville, recently unveiled its new $13 million, 29,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Designed by Wade Architecture of Hagerstown, Md., with interior design by Leslie Braun of White Orchid Design Studio, the new clubhouse becomes the social and golf centerpiece of the Bayside community.

“The intimate indoor and outdoor features of the clubhouse fit the Bayside community, and their guests, all year long,” said Michelle DiFebo Freeman, Carl M. Freeman Companies president and CEO. “The thoughtful collaboration between the designer and architect make it feel truly like home.”

The newest Bayside world-class amenity features Signatures at Bayside, a casual restaurant offering lunch and dinner daily plus a collection of local craft brews and cocktails; a glass-enclosed golf simulator available to all ages and skill levels; a well-appointed golf shop; men’s and ladies’ locker rooms; a banquet room for weddings and events; and a bridal suite. Outdoor patios overlook the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, while fire pits and bocce ball courts offer areas to socialize and enjoy the temperate climate. Due to local COVID-19 restrictions, the restaurant venues are currently open to limited-capacity dining.

“The clubhouse is casual, warm and inviting, and is the perfect place for residents and guests to relax and enjoy before or after golf,” said Sean Gradomski, PGA, Bayside Resort Golf Club general manager. “Our sincere thank you to the Carl M. Freeman Companies for their investment in this beautiful new amenity for the Bayside community.”

The color palette throughout the clubhouse includes hues of tan, blue, gray and white, offering a fresh coastal feel. Three fireplaces located throughout the clubhouse provide a place for residents and guests to warm up on cool winter days or enjoy a hot beverage. The clubhouse also includes underground golf car parking and recharging stations for up to 78 golf cars.
