Beebe filled with loving, caring people

August 27, 2024

In early May, I had a big surprise – a heart attack!

The EMT dispatcher was marvelous, keeping me on the line until the crew arrived (within 5 minutes). From my very first contact with Beebe Healthcare all the way through my surgery, hospitalization and now cardiac rehab, I have encountered 99% lovely and caring people.

I consider Dr. George my hero! Not only did he brilliantly fix my arteries, but he is also so present with his patients. I was not ready for a nice surgeon who actually listens to his patients. He and Dr. Dahr are magnificent, and I can’t recommend Clinic by the Sea more highly.

Not long after my medical adventure, a friend was in Beebe and I went to visit. I encountered the same level of caring and helpfulness on that visit as well. I attribute this to the culture of kindness that Dr. David Tam has created in the system.

My deepest thanks to Beebe Healthcare and Lewes Fire Department for getting me through this with such grace and professionalism.
