Beth Isaacs, loving, caring woman
Beth Isaacs, former Delaware resident, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, at her home in Asheville, N.C.
Beth was born March 22, 1951, in Milford, to Vivian and Lawrence Isaacs. She attended Milford and Seaford schools before graduating from University of Delaware with a French degree, and University of Maryland with a librarian degree.
She worked at the Laurel School District and at The Blade in Washington, D.C.
Because she loved the North Carolina climate, she spent eight years in a beautiful adult retirement center, where she made many friends and helped many of the residents. She has been described as fun, helpful, loving, caring and friendly. She and her dog were regulars around the community.
Beth is survived by her sisters, Sue Isaacs and partner Cathy Luchetta of Summerfield, Fla., and Kay Greene and husband James Greene of Lincoln; nephew, Ben Tebbens of Lincoln; niece, Bonnie Twilley and husband Kevin of Lincoln, and their families.
Her dear friends Sharon and Carol Groben, Annora Day and Verna McGaughey of Asheville N.C., became like family to her.
Burial will be private.
