After receiving numerous emails concerning The Book Drop and international shipping fees inquiries, Bethany Beach Books discovered its Book Drop Box had been featured on Buzzfeed's Top 20 Geeky Subscription Boxes You Need Right Now.

Bethany Beach Books launched the Book Drop subscription box toward the end of February and received a great response from customers. Once a month, the staff at Bethany Beach Books hand-select one of their favorite new titles based on the subscribers' reading preferences, package the book and mail it out to subscribers. Bethany Beach Books is bringing the independent bookstore to those who don't have one in their town.

Bethany Beach Books was surprised to learn the subscription box that comes from this 2,000-square-foot bookstore in quiet little Bethany Beach had been selected and advertised to a global audience of more than 200 million. Suddenly the subscribers started pouring in from all over the country and even abroad. In just over 12 hours, The Book Drop was reaching 26 states and three countries.
