Beware of the socialist in Democrat clothing

October 4, 2024

I believe the people of coastal Sussex want a state representative who is thoughtful, practical and truly listens to constituents without prior agenda. In other words, a committed and, more importantly, balanced candidate who will work to address the needs of our residents by listening, exploring and championing commonsense solutions. The current Democrat candidate is not that person. The current Democrat candidate puts forth an obvious Socialist agenda, constituents be damned. Her stance on many issues is quite extreme. I saw a proposal to allow teenagers to vote in school board elections, for example. Her campaign website prioritizes some national issues, issues that are not the top issues facing coastal Sussex. It reads as simple pandering for votes. Read for yourself.

Let’s not be railroaded by the socialist in Democrat clothing, but rather, let’s rally around the candidate who will work hard to champion the needs of residents, regardless of voting party or other categorization.  Let’s rally behind the candidate who has demonstrated his care for the residents of coastal Sussex as president of Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company. Let’s rally to elect Mike Simpler, the clear choice for commonsense solutions for all!
