BHHS Gallo Realty names Tricia Ratner rental manager

April 20, 2019

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty has announced that Tricia Gallo Ratner has been named Rehoboth Beach Rental Department manager upon the retirement of 40-year employee Michelle Esposito. Ratner has been a licensed agent with the firm since 1995 and brings to the department several years of experience in the vacation rental business. She has performed as a rental agent, as Lewes Rental Department manager, and, most recently, as the Marketing and Community Service director for the firm.

“Her knowledge of the vacation rental industry, as well as the inner workings of all parts of our firm, will be beneficial in her new role,” said BHHS Gallo Realty Broker/President Andrew Ratner.

With a bachelor of science degree in business from the University of Delaware, Tricia worked in New York City in the buying offices for both Bloomingdale’s and The May Company for several years after graduating.

Upon relocating back to her hometown, Tricia and husband Andrew obtained their Delaware real estate licenses and joined the family business. Her parents, Bette and Sal Gallo, formed Gallo Realty in 1979, and sister Lee Ann Wilkinson came on board in 1983.

Since then, Tricia has been very active in the community. She has been a governor-appointed member of the Delaware Tourism Board, a volunteer and a longtime board member for both the Rehoboth Beach Film Society and The Jefferson School, and a reader for Read Aloud Delaware. She is a current board member of the Epworth Skate Project and also volunteers and coordinates charitable activities for BHHS Gallo Realty, performing as director of the Gallo Gives Foundation, the firm’s charitable arm.

“Through her many active roles in our community, Tricia has committed herself to putting others first, and that is the main ingredient of outstanding customer service,” said Andrew Ratner. “We have every confidence that Tricia will meet and exceed expectations of our owners, guests, and her rental team.”

“I am looking forward to working with our clients, agents, and staff on a daily basis,” Tricia said. “Now that my children are attending college and law school, I can once again thoroughly immerse myself back into the heart of the business, working side by side with our agents in servicing our owners, guests, and tenants in our very busy rental department. I know this is a challenging job, and Michelle has worked with me diligently to make this a smooth transition.”

BHHS Gallo Realty manages the rentals of more than 700 seasonal and long-term properties in its Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, and Bethany Beach locations. Phone Tricia Ratner at 302-227-6554, or email her at rentalmanager@gotogallo.com.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty is independently owned and operated. It became a member of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brokerage network, operated by HSF Affiliates LLC, in 2014.
