Blood Bank of Delmarva hosts Christmas blood drive
Blood Bank of Delmarva and Dogfish Head in Milton teamed up Dec. 26 for a Christmas blood drive.
While the Blood Bank and local breweries team up in the summer for the annual Blood For A Brew campaign, the bank decided to have a drive during the holiday season, as school breaks, travel and seasonal illnesses can keep regular donors from giving.
Blood donors can give every 56 days, and platelet donors can give twice per month.
Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane.
