Blues keyboardist Bruce Katz to perform March 22

Blues musician Bruce Katz has performed across the country and in Europe, and now he’ll be gracing the stage of The Room at Cedar Grove near Lewes at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 22.

Katz’s band recently recorded an album in Macon, Ga., and the audience will hear tunes from the upcoming release.

“Prepare to be wowed,” said Paul Cullen, a former bass player with Bad Company and founder of The Room at Cedar Grove, an intimate venue that serves food and beverages. “Bruce is legendary on the Hammond B3 and the piano.”

The $75 ticket includes a four-course wine dinner, and proceeds benefit Paul Kares, a nonprofit that supports young local musicians and youth seeking careers in the hospitality industry – two professions close to Cullen’s heart.
