Our world lost a giant this week, as Diaz Bonville passed away.
Diaz was a man of grace, devotion, family and community. Knowing him was a blessing, and to be his friend was an honor. Diaz was my neighbor and fellow community activist.
We met many years ago through his work in the Cape Region, where he spent his life helping and serving others. He is the father of West Side New Beginnings and the West Rehoboth Children and Youth Program. His efforts to support child development and prosperity have helped countless children and their families over the years.
I ask that when you read this letter, you stop and reflect on Diaz Bonville. I assure you that grace will overcome you.
