Boos & Brews returns to Historic Lewes Oct. 24

A night of eerie excitement and good spirits will return with Boos & Brews from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 24, on the ghostly grounds of the Historic Lewes Town Campus, 110 Shipcarpenter St.

Guests are invited to revel in Lewes legends and lore while meeting creatures and characters from bygone times and other worlds. Under the autumn night sky, everyone can enjoy live music by Electric Velvet, delicious fare by J&B Grilling, and a tempting selection of potent potions for those 21 and older, featuring beer, wine and hot rum toddies.

Costumes are encouraged, with prizes awarded for the most original, scariest and best group ensembles of the evening.

“This is one of our favorite nights of the year,” said Tri McCarthy, director of operations. “The campus transforms into something out of time — part history, part haunting — and the energy from everyone dancing, laughing and just enjoying themselves is absolutely contagious.”

With its flickering lights, mysterious shadows and haunted reputation, the Historic Lewes Town Campus offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable Halloween celebration.

Ticket cost includes dinner, live entertainment and an evening filled with spine-tingling fun. The event is open to guests 21 and older, and will take place rain or shine.
