Brimming Horn Meadery plans to open Seaford location this fall

July 20, 2022

Not long after celebrating its five-year anniversary, Brimming Horn Meadery is planning to expand its operations with a second location in Seaford opening this fall.

Seaford City Council at its July 12 meeting approved a lease agreement with Brimming Horn, so the Milton-based business will be opening a second facility in the property at 106 Spring St. Similar to the current Milton property, it will include a tasting room, but will also be the primary production facility for both locations.

Jon Talkington, Brimming Horn’s founder and president, and his business partner Robert Walker Jr. have more than 20 years’ experience in the craft beer industry. “As a Seaford resident, I'm very excited to bring Brimming Horn Meadery to the town,” said Talkington. “We look forward to joining the community and bringing our unique, handcrafted meads, ciders and fruit wines to everyone. We hope this location becomes a regular hangout for friends, neighbors and travelers to share drinks, music and fun just like our Milton location.”

The city of Seaford is looking forward to adding this experiential destination to its already thriving downtown. Mayor David Genshaw said, “We are super excited to welcome Brimming Horn Meadery to downtown Seaford. Their award-winning meads will be a draw for our entire area, having a positive economic impact for all. I want to thank everyone who was involved to make this happen for a true team effort.” Brimming Horn Meadery’s current location is at 28615 Lewes-Georgetown Highway, Milton.
