Brush fire causes power outage in Henlopen Acres
Underground power line said to be the culprit

The failure of a primary underground cable caused a brush fire along Ocean Drive near Dune Way on the south end of Henlopen Acres.
Firefighters from Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company responded to the fire about 2:20 p.m., Aug. 9, just north of Deauville Beach.
Ocean Drive was closed while firefighters battled the blaze, which was under control in about 20 minutes.
The incident caused a power outage for about 300 homes in Henlopen Acres and North Shores.
Firefighters had the blaze under control in about 20 minutes.
