A nationwide doctor's office specializing in medical marijuana prescriptions has opened a branch in Lewes.
Located at 105 W. Fourth St., across the street from Beebe Healthcare, Canna Care Docs of Delaware opened its second Delaware office in March 2019. The first was at 9 Germany Drive in Wilmington. In a Facebook post Feb. 5, the company announced an open house 5-7 p.m, Friday, March 20, at the Lewes office. Due to COVID-19, the open house has been rescheduled to Friday, June 12.
Erica Pukatsch, Canna Care Docs regional manager of Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, said the Lewes office is looking forward to the open house. She said Canna Care Docs does much more than simply certify medical marijuana cards.
“Southern Delaware is in need of a reliable education source. We can provide that,” said Pukatsch.
According to the Canna Care Docs LinkedIn page, the company has more than 30 locations across the country.
The company’s website states the Lewes office is open two days a week – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday. For more information, call 302-414-0871 or go to www.cannacaredocs.com.
