Cape Gazette getting its kicks on Route 66

Burt Timmons of Lewes, traveled Historic Route 66 from Chicago, Illinois, to Santa Monica Pier, Ca., on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He departed on August 28 and returned on September 18.

Burt is a retired U.S. Marine and former employee of the Cleveland Browns. 

While traveling Route 66, he took numerous pictures while reading the Cape Gazette, and bragged about the beautiful beaches and the Eastern Shore with all the friendly travelers he met along the way.
