Cape Henlopen Elks 2540 donates $2K to Wesley UMC

After making a request to the Elks National Foundation, members of Cape Henlopen Elks 2540 of Lewes were able to grant $2,000 to Wesley United Methodist Church of Georgetown for its food pantry ministry.
Every year, the National Elks Foundation community investments program gives almost $10 million in grants in Elks communities across the country to help Elks meet local needs.
The mission of Wesley UMC’s food pantry is to assist the community by providing nonperishable food once a month to families and seniors less fortunate.
