Sweet Chalet and Scout Milton in Milton have closed
After about 18 months in downtown Milton, Sweet Chalet and Scout Milton have closed.
Located on Union Street in the commercial building between The Mercantile and the Broadkill River, the two shops were opened by Tyler and Michelle Teed in June 2024. The Teeds also run Edie Bees Confection Shop in Lewes. Similar to Edie Bees, Sweet Chalet was a confectionary shop. Scout Milton was a retail store selling Milton-branded T-shirts, outdoor items and gifts.
The Facebook pages of both stores announced the pending closures weeks ago. Their last day of business was Dec. 20.
