Cape Henlopen Elks donation to Warrior Weekend Program helps injured veterans

The Veterans Committee of Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 near Lewes recently presented a $2,500 donation to the local Warrior Weekend Program. 

The mission of the Warrior Weekend Program is to provide a weekend of rest, relaxation and fun for injured heroes recovering from harms sustained while serving on military duty, along with their spouses and families. During their time away, they can participate in scheduled activities or just relax and reconnect with their families.
