Coach Kate Austin”The coaching staff was pleased with our play this weekend. It’s difficult to play back to back less than 24 hours of rest, but I think our play as a team improved from Friday to Saturday. We were able to run a few forward lines to keep fresh legs and I think that made it really difficult for Queen Anne’s and Decatur to defend effectively, since we were running fresh forwards every few minutes. It was great to see the versatility of the team as multiple players got minutes in different lines on the field. Coming off the weekend we’re prepping for Lake and they are always skilled and aggressive, so we are going to work on areas where we need improvement that were highlighted in last weekend games”
