Cape May-Lewes Ferry partners with Go Fourth Lewes for fireworks

June 30, 2019

The Lewes Go Fourth Committee members are pleased to partner again with the Cape May-Lewes Ferry for the 2019 fireworks.

The fireworks will be launched from a barge off Lewes Beach at dusk Thursday, July 4. Parking is limited. The Delaware River and Bay Authority and Cape May-Lewes Ferry will host a fireworks-watching event with free parking at the Lewes ferry terminal. The event will feature live entertainment by Glass Onion, a family-friendly setting with face painting, and food and beverages available on site.

The Delaware State Police will assist with traffic management this year, and monitor the bridge closures and parking restrictions on Cape Henlopen Drive.
