The Cape boys’ tennis team moved to 5-3 on the season with a 3-2 victory over Indian River April 24.

Wins were recorded by Caidan Juliano at third singles 6-0, 6-0; Jackson Hess and Michael Gordon at first doubles 6-4, 6-1; and Ace Crandall and De'Angelo Jackson 6-1, 6-3 at second doubles.

Indian River’s Mason McCabe and Jaden Shockley each won singles matches.

“It was a great team win that really highlighted the depth we have on this team,” said Cape coach Mike Roy. “Caidan has been playing with a ton of confidence, and our doubles teams played some very clutch tennis when we needed it.”

The Vikings travel to Dover Tuesday, April 28, to face the Senators.
