Cape theater students perform ‘Dancing Queen’ at board meeting

Students in the Cape Henlopen High School theater program brought a welcome energy to the March 12 school board meeting with a lively rendition of “Dancing Queen” by ABBA, a sneak peek at their upcoming performances of the musical “Mamma Mia!”
Juniors Skylar Jamele, Ruby Quinn and Anna Currence, and seniors Willow DiMichele, Noah Lewis and Daphne Mock, sang and performed a choreographed dance to kick off the evening.
The students’ “Mamma Mia!” production debuts at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 19, in the high school auditorium. Other showtimes include Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, both at 7 p.m., as well as at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 22.
Tickets are $13 for adults and $8 for students and can be purchased either online or at the door via cash, card or check made out to Cape Henlopen School District.
