Capital Ringers live Christmas shows to start Nov. 27

November 3, 2021

Capital Ringers, Delmarva’s community handbell ensemble, will perform its beloved Christmas shows live throughout Sussex County in late November and early December.

After recording virtual shows for Christmas 2020 and summer 2021, Capital Ringers will be live with the program titled “We Need a Little Christmas." The shows have been a holiday tradition since the organization’s founding in 2005.

The show includes audience favorites such as "Wizards in Winter" and "Winter Wonderland," as well as dramatic versions of sacred and secular tunes that include keyboard, synthesizer and percussion.

"The ringers and tech crew cannot wait to be back in front of our live audiences," said Linda Simms, Capital Ringers founder and artistic director. "We hope our fans have missed us as much as we miss them."
