Carrie Lingo Team welcomes three new members

August 9, 2022

As the Carrie Lingo Team continues to grow in both sales volume and client satisfaction, it is also growing in numbers with the addition of three new members: Leslie Savage, Carly Meluney and Katie Green.

Leslie Savage was born and raised in Lewes. After graduating from Cape Henlopen High School, she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Delaware. Following college, she moved to upstate New York, where she worked in the mortgage banking industry for 10 years in loan origination, processing and office management. Having finally realized how much she missed the beach, Savage decided to move back home.

Her family legacy in Southern Delaware runs deep. Her father was a river pilot on the Delaware Bay and River, and her great-uncle owned the Lewes Boatyard (now Lewes Canalfront Park), where he built and repaired boats. Consequently, Savage and her family spent a great deal of time on the water fishing, crabbing and clamming. In addition to being a water enthusiast, her youth activities included riding and showing horses as well as playing sports.

Upon her return from New York to Delaware, Savage managed the daily operations of a family-owned motel and also worked for a local custom home builder for more than eight years. Always eager to give back to her community, she has also spent time coaching middle school field hockey.

She currently lives in Lewes with her husband and two sons. She is thoroughly excited to be listing and selling properties in beautiful Southern Delaware. Contact Leslie Savage at 302-381-4034 or leslie@jacklingo.com.

After buying, selling, decorating and renovating four homes of her own, Carly Meluney decided to pursue her passion for real estate full time. She is an excellent listener with an eye for property potential. She is excited to work with her clients to find a house they can make a home.

Meluney first landed in Delaware as a graduate student at the University of Delaware, where she studied counseling for higher education and later returned as an advisor for undergraduate students before pursuing her career in real estate. She met her husband right before graduation, and he introduced her to the Lewes-Rehoboth Beach area – it was love at first sight. After she and her her Lewes-native husband lived in Philadelphia and Wilmington, they finally decided it was time to move to Lewes and have not looked back. Carly and her husband Sean have two wonderful daughters, Hadley and Marlowe, and a rescue dog named Maisie. In her free time, Meluney loves reading, decorating, and spending time at the beach and state park with her family and friends.

Katie Green is a native of Southern Delaware and boasts over 100 years of family history in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. Her grandfather, the late John W. Beach, was a local writer who composed numerous books on the history of the Delaware beaches. He became the first publisher of The Whale, a local newspaper which played an important role in the later development of the Cape Gazette.

Green graduated from Cape Henlopen High School and then studied equine business management at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I. After college, her love for the Delaware beaches brought her back home, where she has lived and worked in the hospitality industry for more than 14 years. In her spare time, she loves riding horses at her family's horse farm as well as relaxing on the beach with friends. As a Realtor on both the Townsend Team and the Carrie Lingo Team, she shares her enthusiasm and love for the area with her clients to help guide them through the process of buying or selling their home.
