Catherine Callaghan Ward, 77, of Lewes, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.
She found God's presence in many good actions. She lived her life to the fullest and gave all her energy in all her activities, measuring worth by the positive effect it had on the human person. Mother, grandmother, wife, nurse, educator, Cathy enriched the lives of those fortunate to know her.
She was the wife of Robert M. Ward; mother of Robert L., Maureen (deceased), Malachy and Christy Ann Snook (Thomas); sister of Maureen Shields (Jim); she had two grandchildren, Tadhg and Burke.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 13, at St. Catherine of Sienna, Wilmington.
