CBH afterschool programs kick off Sept. 22 at HOB and Milton
Children's Beach House announced its afterschool programs at Milton Elementary and H.O. Brittingham Elementary will resume Monday, Sept. 22. Services continue through 6 p.m., each day, Monday to Friday.
These programs provide elementary-school students with a safe, supportive and enriching environment after the school day ends by offering academic support, creative exploration, resources for healthy living, and programming around social and emotional growth.
“After-school hours are a critical window for a child’s continued growth and learning,” said Jackie Donaldson, CBH youth development program director. “These are the hours where children have the most unstructured social time all day. Children’s Beach House programs not only keep kids engaged and safe but also give parents peace of mind, knowing their children are benefiting from meaningful experiences beyond the school day.”
Fees are $135 per week with sibling discounts and financial aid available to eligible families. CBH also accepts Purchase of Care. To learn more, contact Terri Whitacre, afterschool coordinator, at twhitacre@cbhinc.org or 302-640-4811.
Founded in 1936, Children’s Beach House serves children statewide through early childhood education, afterschool programming, residential camps and family wrap-around services, helping children, families and communities build futures of hope and transformation.
