While the medical profession and hospitals are under attack for hard-to-get appointments or testing, I must say, there are bright spots in the system.
Do we need more doctors? Yes. Do we need better communications? Yes.
But evidenced by the new Epic system being used by both Beebe and Bayhealth, and new doctors, progress is being made.
Let’s not forget the great service we get at these hospitals. It is easy to disparage a provider or hospital, but we should vocalize the positives, of which I am sure there are plenty.
I had a left knee replacement at Beebe Surgical Center with a great doctor. The icing on this procedure was the surgery center facility and, most importantly, the outstanding care that the staff delivers. Kudos to all who serve in the medical profession.
Time to celebrate the positives.
