Celebration of Life concert for Milton Pride Week set June 9

For guests 18 years and older
June 8, 2019

The Milton Theatre’s inaugural Milton Pride Fest will host a Celebration of Life concert at 7 p.m., Sunday, June 9.

The LGBT community has come a long way in just a few short years, and it’s important to take a moment to recognize the amazing sacrifices that have been made.

The Celebration of Life is a concert for everyone remembering a lost friend or family member, as well as honoring individual journeys. It will feature the upbeat music of Christine Havrilla & Gypsy Fuzz, and the soulful music of Meredith Rounsley. These two artists are perfect for celebrating the struggles and successes of the LGBT community. Havrilla & Gypsy Fuzz take listeners on an emotional journey of their own self-discovery, while Rounsley aims to make her listeners feel connected to one another via the intimate nature of her music.

Before the show, the Milton Theatre will welcome DJ Jamie Fox as well as a variety of vendors for a full pride event. Fox will transform the Milton Theatre into a rocking dance floor. Attendees can enjoy the music while they peruse various Pride vendors in the rear of the theatre before the show.

Tickets are $15-$20. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.MiltonTheatre.com or call 302-684-3038. This event is for guests 18 years or older. Minors may only be admitted with parents or legal guardians.
