Channel 47 ABC launches 'Delmarva Sports Insider'

Marquee Broadcasting Inc. and the 47 ABC Sports Department announce the launch of a weekly half-hour sports program. "Delmarva Sports Insider" or "DSI" aired its premiere show Aug. 24.

The launch comes just five months after 47 ABC reintroduced a sports team to the ABC and CW3 Delmarva family. "DSI" will provide in-depth analysis, coach and player interviews, highlights and much more. Sports Director Spenser Tilus and sports reporter Giselle Espinales will cohost the program with regular contributions from sports reporter Travon Miles.

“'Delmarva Sports Insider' is your ticket behind the scenes to comprehensive high school, college and pro sports coverage,” promises Tilus.

"DSI" will be shot on Delmarva’s first virtual set. This cutting-edge technology allows the team to explore a whole new world of broadcasting, right from studios in downtown Salisbury, Md.

"Delmarva Sports Insider" airs at 11:30 a.m. every Sunday on 47 ABC.
